從梅市移舟經過古城，
這次出行也未曾缺少應酬逢迎。
揹負柴薪的鄉野老人沒有妻子兒女，
施捨藥物的山中隱士隱藏姓名。
風雨天氣偏偏適合寄宿在茅草小店，
鹽和醋都不曾用來調配藜菜羹湯。
宣和年間的戶籍冊如今還有誰在？
彷彿是上天有意讓人安享太平。

This journey, too, lacks not a welcoming scene.
An old woodcutter in the wild, with no wife or child;
A mountain hermit dispensing medicine, his name concealed.
Wind and rain best suit a night in a thatched inn;
Salt and vinegar never reach my simple meal of wild greens.
Who now remains from the Xuanhe census rolls?
As if Heaven wills this joy in peace, it seems.
