箕山穎水本非爭名奪利之所，
瀟湘之地自古便是水雲之鄉。
採茶歌聲里，春光漸漸老去，
煮繭的香氣中，夏日景象變得悠長。
早早收起官笏，已知宦遊的險惡，
晚年於門上題字，方悟世情之常態。
雖然我沒有服食芝草、辟穀不食的方術，
但披散頭髮，仍當效仿楚國的狂人接輿。

Xiao and Xiang have always been lands of water and clouds.
In the tea-picking songs, spring's light grows old;
Amid the scent of boiling cocoons, summer's scene stretches long.
Knowing early, with official tablet put away, the woes of wandering office;
Realizing late, by signing the gate, the constancy of worldly ways.
Though I lack the art to feed on herbs and abstain from grains,
With hair unbound, I still shall emulate the madman of Chu.
