麥穗初秀，微寒的時節過後，
梅子轉黃，細雨飄灑之前。
湖灘上，白鷺剛剛開始聚集，
堤岸的柳樹上，蟬兒還未鳴叫。
古琴因輕陰的天氣而帶上溼氣，
頭巾因微醺而偏向一邊。
傍晚來臨，幽靜的興致達到頂點，
我又一次登上了釣魚的小船。

On lakeside shoals, egrets first gather in flight,
On dike willows, cicadas are yet silent in the light.
My lute feels moist in the gentle shade,
