作爲世間的老客，我已對百事都感到慵懶，
多麼快樂啊，關起門來度過這個冬天。
早晨，爐中獸炭騰起紅色的火焰，
夜裡，蠻氈牀榻擁裹著紫色的絨毛。
像刺蝟刺一樣的蓬殼裂開，新栗已然成熟，
雛鵝嬉戲顯露出色彩，凍醅酒意正濃。
題寫詩句，正是爲了消磨這閒散的日子，
本就不去爭先，求取那萬戶侯的封賞。

An old guest in the world, weary of all affairs,
How joyful to shut my door and pass this winter!
At dawn, the stove's beast-shaped charcoal leaps with crimson flames,
At night, the barbarian felt blankets embrace purple down.
Hedgehog-like burrs split, fresh chestnuts ripen on the vine,
Goslings sport their hues, the frozen brew grows rich and strong.
Composing poems just to while away these idle days,
I never sought to vie for the fief of ten thousand households.
