一座茅庵是上天賜予，讓我在此安養衰殘之軀。
雨水荒疏了園中的菊花，每一枝都顯得瘦弱；
寒霜染紅了江邊的楓葉，每一片都鮮艷如丹。
在鍋中烹煮帶著鱗片的小白魚；
在蓬門邊繫著藤蔓纏繞的黃色葫蘆。
夕陽更激發了我閒適游賞的興致；
十月的吳中之地，還不算十分寒冷。

A thatched hut is heaven-sent to nurture my declining years.

At my wicker gate, I tie yellow gourds trailing on vines.
