走出城郭，河水溶溶，波紋如細紗般蕩漾，
我平生多少次經過這個地方？
祭祀過後，野廟旁烏鴉歡快地啼叫著，
村中酒價低廉，喝醉的老翁很多。
正午時分，稀疏的鐘聲離開了石佛，
黃昏時刻，微雨中停泊在曹娥廟旁。
採蓮的小船夫正愁衣服會被打溼，
他並非爲了顧惜別人家的綠荷。

How many times in my life have I passed by this place?
After the sacrifice, crows caw joyfully at the rustic temple,
With cheap wine, many old men get drunk in the village market.
At noon, sparse bell-tones part from the stone Buddha,
At dusk, a light rain moors me at Cao E's shrine.
The lotus-gathering boatman frets about his clothes getting wet,
He does not spare the green lotus for others' sake.
