有花的時候，您卻不插戴。
有酒的時候，您卻不持飲。
時光流逝，花枝已然空無花朵。
人已衰老，酒量也隨之衰退。
今年因病而戒了酒。
白白辜負了菊花盛開的時節。
早開的梅花很快就可以去探尋了。
家釀的酒將碧綠的酒液斟滿酒杯。
您若不勉強自己醉一場，
歲月又會悄然推移而去。
新的詩篇也應當賦寫，
不要計較字句是否工整傾斜。

With flowers at hand, you do not wear them.
With wine at hand, you do not hold it.
Time passes, and the flowering branches stand bare.
Men age, and the capacity for wine declines.
This year, illness bids me cease from wine.
In vain I miss the season of chrysanthemums.
Soon the early plum may be sought.
My home-brewed wine fills the cup with green.
If you do not force yourself to get drunk once,
The years and months will again slip away.
