竹簾的影子在午漏前參差搖曳，
雨後的天空下，盆景中的山石綠意溼潤。
我的詩作沒有傑出的句子，真是才思衰退了啊，
借酒力讓臉色紅潤，卻反而更添悵惘。
海燕整理巢穴，知道將要再次哺育雛鳥，
吳地的蠶被放出來進食，已經過了三眠。
名泉沒有辜負我兒子的心意，
我親手舀起一捧丁坑泉水來煎茶。

The shadow of the bamboo blind sways before the noon water-clock,
The potted mountains are moistly green after the rain has cleared the sky.
My poems lack outstanding lines, truly a sign of my decline,
Wine may lend a rosy hue to my face, yet it only deepens my melancholy.
The sea swallow tends its nest, knowing it will nurture its young again,
The silkworms of Wu, having been fed, have passed their third sleep.
The famed spring does not disappoint my son's wish,
I scoop up some water from Dingkeng and brew the tea myself.
