猶喜相逢那恨晚，故應更好半開時。
今冬不雪何關事，值伴孤芳卻欠伊。

在城中忙碌，錯過了探訪梅花的佳期。
初次見到僧房窗外，已有一兩枝綻放。
依然欣喜相逢，哪裡會怨恨相見太晚？
所以想來，半開之時應當更爲美好。
今年冬天不下雪又有什麼關係呢？
只是陪伴這孤傲的芳華，卻少了它的映襯。
月落山空，正是幽靜孤獨的時刻。
爲慰藉心懷，沒有美酒，姑且吟成新詩。

In town, I missed the season to seek the plum, busy and numb.
First glimpsed a branch or two by the monk's window, a sight that's come.
Still glad we met, no grudge for the lateness of the hour.
For it's better, I deem, in half-blown state to show its power.
What matters if no snow falls in this winter's reign?
Yet, to keep this lone fragrance company, it's missed in vain.
The moon sets, the mountain empties, in solitude profound.
To console myself, without wine, a new poem I've found.
