年少時在長安談論奇字，客居京城；
精妙的技藝如同郢地的匠人，無人能及。
如今雙鬢已染秋霜，只能陪伴後輩；
十年光陰恍如一夢，依然守著從前的官職。
竹子從西角蔓延，不久將遍及東邊；
梅花在南枝綻放，北枝尚且寒冷。
自古以來，大器晚成者終能擔當大任；
乘著旋風，即將看見海上的大鵬展翅高飛。

In youth, I spoke of rare words, a guest in Chang'an;
My fine craft, like the mason of Ying, found no peer.
Now my temples are autumn-frosted, trailing behind the new men;
Ten years passed like a dream, guarding my former post.
Bamboo spreads from the west corner, soon to reach the east;
Plum blossoms on the southern branch, the north still feels the cold.
Since ancient times, late bloomers finally find great use;
Riding the whirlwind, we'll see the ocean roc soar.
