晚涼中我緩步走出柴門，
萬千變化的浮雲飄蕩在幽深的天空。
濃密的雲像鐵山托著殘缺的月亮，
稀薄的雲如春絮般透出稀疏的星光。
正欣喜夜漸深沉，天籟之聲都已沉寂，
更喜愛這澄澈空明、鬱鬱蒼蒼的帝青天色。
雨氣尚未平息，蛟龍似欲蠢動，
電光前後閃爍，照射著庭院中央。

In evening cool, I stroll out of my wicket gate at ease,
Where myriad shifting clouds drift in the deep and darkling skies.
Some thick as iron peaks that prop the crescent moon in place,
Some thin as springtime willow-down through which sparse stars arise.
I'm glad the night grows deep and all the sounds of nature cease,
And more rejoice to see the azure vault in clarity.
The rain's breath stirs, the dragon seems about to start its course,
As lightning flashes forth and back, and shoots across the courtyard space.
