赤城的仙人已乘丹鳳仙去，
墨池邊人們傳頌著詠白鵝的詩篇。
一個時代的風流人物都已寂寥無聞，
但千年的氣象依然如此巍峨高峻。
登臨此地，懷念古人的遺憾無窮無盡，
唯有那蒼蒼的岩石可以被歲月磨蝕。

The Southern Qi's recluse entrusted his soul to these hills and streams.
The immortal of Red City rode off on a crimson phoenix,
By the Ink Pond, people still chant of the white goose.
An era's grace and talent have all turned to dust,
Yet the grandeur of a thousand years stands lofty as ever.
Ascending here, my longing for those gone knows no bounds—
Only the endless grey rocks can be ground down by time.
