天地間你我同是漂泊的旅人，
但春秋時節卻各在一方。
邊疆的戰塵依然處處瀰漫，
肅殺的景象苦於蒼茫無際。
恐怕它有受傷的翅膀，
哀鳴著，缺少充飢的稻粱。

Then it passes again by Hengyang's shore.
Under the same vast sky, we're both wayfarers,
Yet through spring and autumn, we dwell apart.
Dust of border strife still spreads far and wide,
A bitter, gloomy air of slaughter reigns.
Fearing its wounded wing may fail it still,
It sadly cries, finding little grain to eat.
