棗樹下沒有人行走，
四周長滿了蒺藜。
秋天到來，看見成熟的果實，
鮮亮地垂掛著，青紅相間。
敲打樹木，棗子落在碧瓦上，
濺到石頭上，投到赤色的石磯。
人們紛紛爭著當作口福，
姑且混雜著像孩童般嬉戲。
樹上已是空枝，
樹下也踩出了小路。
人世間的事情不過如此，
桃李（的繁華）真是自我欺騙。

Under the jujube tree, none passes by,
All around, thistles and thorns multiply.
When autumn comes, the ripe fruits show,
Bright, dangling in red and green glow.
Knocking the tree, they fall on blue tiles,
Splashing on stones, hitting red banks' aisles.
People vie to fill their mouths with glee,
Mingling like children, carefree.
The branches now are bare and void,
A path beneath is also deployed.
Human affairs are just like this,
Peach and plum truly self-deceiving bliss.
