詩歌內容

一童一鹿自相隨，不覺山間筍蕨肥。

看盡榮枯彈指頃，燒痕青處認春歸。

瞥然飛電□雙瞳，短褐長絛如瘦松。

白玉巖中無一事，為君題作玉巖翁。

一個童子一頭鹿自在相伴，

不知不覺間山中的竹筍蕨菜已肥美。

看盡繁華與枯敗只在彈指之間，

從野火燒過又泛青綠的地方認出春天歸來。

目光如電光一閃般敏銳有神，

身著粗布短衣繫著長帶，身形如瘦勁的松樹。

在這白玉岩中沒有一件塵俗之事，

爲您題寫名號稱作「玉岩翁」。

A lad and a deer keep each other company, at ease,

Unaware that bamboo shoots and ferns grow plump in the mountain breeze.

Having seen all glory and decay within a snap of fingers,

He spots spring's return where green sprouts pierce the fire's lingering cinders.

A flash of lightning—his pair of pupils gleam and dart,

In short coarse cloth and long sash, he stands like a gaunt pine, apart.

Within the White Jade Crag, there is not a single worldly affair,

For you, I inscribe this title: the Old Man of Jade Crag, fair.
