在二十八將紛爭的時代過去之後，
皇帝殷切地追念著他們的功績。
凌雲台高達百尺，
漢朝的衆位公卿依傍著日光聚集於此。
他們的爵位高聳，仿佛侵入了雲霄，
畫工們揮毫潑墨，薈萃英才。
按照功勳的次序排列位次，
畫像依次陳列在牆壁的東西兩側。
容貌被描繪在丹青畫卷之中，
名字垂留於竹簡帛書之上。
凌煙閣上的畫像筆墨生動，別開生面，
古今傑出人物，其精神是相通的。

The Cloud Terrace soared a hundred feet high,
Where Han's lords gathered, bathed in the sun's light.

Positions were ordered by merit's degree,
Their images lined the walls, west and east.
Their likenesses were painted in vibrant hues,
Their names inscribed on bamboo and silk, to last.
The Lingyan portraits, with life anew,
