嘗遍了世間的滋味，各種念頭都變得輕淡；
眼前的得失榮辱，又算得了什麼？
寧願讓鬼怪來嘲笑戲弄你，
也不允許他人能夠駕馭控制你。
策馬奔騰、臥龍藏虎的功業都只是夢幻之事；
焚香靜坐、對鏡自照，就這樣度過餘生。
春色將殘，雨水勉強沾溼了土地，
我卻只願從今往後，米價能夠平穩。

Having tasted the world's flavors, all thoughts turn light;
What disgrace or glory lies before my sight?
Better let ghosts mock you with their jeers and taunts,
Than let men control you with their wants and haunts.
Galloping steeds and sleeping dragons are but dreams;
Burning incense, gazing in the mirror—life's last gleams.
Spring wanes, the rain has barely moistened the dry land,
Yet I pray from now on, the price of rice will stand.
