一別三秋，你很高興我前來拜訪；
說起舊日同遊，彷彿南柯一夢。
在功名際會上，前世的緣分很淺薄；
在燈火詩社中，留下的遺憾卻很多。
歷經幾劫，我們曾是詩法的眷屬；
兩個鰥夫，堪稱為俗世的禪和子。
相互看望沒多久，你就匆匆離去；
奈何你能吟詩，卻不能一同飲酒啊。

After three autumns apart, you rejoice at my visit;
Our past travels are spoken of like a dream in Nanke.
In the meeting of fame and merit, our past karma is thin;
Under the lantern light of the society, regrets are many.
Through several kalpas, we have been kin in the art of verse;
Two widowers can be called vulgar Zen companions, terse.
We look at each other, not long before you leave in haste;
What can I do, you can chant poems but not drink with taste?
