幾間村店簇擁在山旁，
下馬走過高橋時已是夕陽西下。
受驚的鳥兒忽然衝破了溪上的霧靄，
幽暗的花朵悄然墜落，溝壑中的風送來清香。
此刻盤桓停留，心中依然留戀，
日後回想起來，興致必定更加狂放。
可惜回頭之際，一聲笛音傳來，
只見酒旗斜斜地曳出稀疏的竹林。

Dismounting at the perilous bridge, the evening sun has died.
A startled bird suddenly pierces the mist over the stream, breaking the haze,
And unseen flowers idly fall, their scent on the trench wind strays.

In days to come, recalling this, my spirits will take flight.
Alas, as I turn my head, a flute's note fills the air,
Where a tavern flag slants and sways out of sparse bamboo, fair.
