眼前豁然開朗，欣喜地望見一羣白鷗。
雨聲在夜裡向著九峯山傾瀉而下，
江水的勢頭到了清晨，被三處堰壩分流。
蛟龍盤踞的洞窟本就是它們獨占的領地，
鄰家的雞鳴犬吠應當能彼此相聞。
我師父的一餐飽飯關乎上天的意旨，
他收拾起晴日的和風，又放出濃密的雲層。

My eyes brighten with joy at the sight of a flock of white gulls.
The sound of rain pours down toward the Nine Peaks through the night,
The river's force, by morning, splits at the three weirs.
The abode of flood dragons has ever been their own domain,
The fowls and dogs of neighboring homes should hear each other's calls.
My master's full belly is tied to Heaven's will—
He gathers the clear breeze, then releases dense clouds.
