漫長的白晝，空寂的書齋里風吹牆壁作響，
一枝一葉都仿佛要生出雲霧來。

Beyond the misty clouds, the immortal lord of Chou-ch'ih dwells,
Exquisitely, from Hu-chou, he paints the ink-dark skirt that swells.
In the long day, the empty studio stirs with wind on the wall,
Branch and leaf, each sprout and frond, seem ready to give birth to clouds' veils.
