山坡上的麥子熟了，傍晚的雲層泛著黃光；
農婦和她的妯娌互相攙扶著，準備去收割。
溪流和山巒都化作了雨水，沖走了我的草鞋；
床前長出了芝菌，蝸牛爬過的痕跡像篆書一樣印在房樑上。
我安然靜坐，恍惚間以為自己身處瀑布之下；
從夢中醒來，又擔心自己還在那漏雨的天邊。
何時才能有晴朗的山霧飄進我的門戶，
撩動我的心緒，讓我放聲高歌，傾盡這一杯酒？

On the hillside, the wheat ripens beneath the evening's yellow clouds;
Wives and sisters-in-law, supporting each other, go to reap the harvest.
Streams and mountains turn to rain, washing sandals away in the flood;
Mushrooms face the bed, while snail tracks script the beams like seal script.
Sitting at ease, I almost doubt I'm beneath the valley's waterfall;
Waking from dreams, I fear I'm still by the sky that leaks its rain.
When will the clear mountain air come in through my door,
To stir my heart and pour out a song with a cup of wine?
