空堂里，涼蓆上，午時我拋下髮簪，
人聲寂靜，疏簾映照著白晝的宮門。
年過中年，內心早已感到疲倦，
疾病因煩人的暑氣而時常昏沉。
紫煙與碧月，是上天最初的賜予，
乳竇寒泉，世間無人能論其珍。
塵世滋味暫時忘卻，只嗜好這茶飲，
再沒有多餘的思緒，去到那芳香的酒樽。

In the empty hall, on cool mat, at noon I cast off my hairpin,
Quiet, the sparse curtain mirrors the daylight, the door's within.
Past middle age, my heart is already weary,
Illness, due to vexing summer heat, leaves my spirit dim and dreary.
Purple mist, jade moon—heaven's initial gift,
Milk cave's cold spring—the world cannot its worth sift.
Dusty flavors briefly forgotten, only this I crave,
No further thoughts remain for the fragrant wine, so brave.
