萬象城東的景致，雅致得可以寫入詩篇，
半湖的雲靄，捲起了天邊殘餘的晚霞。
老龍因爲憐惜春雨，慵懶地不願離開蟄伏之地，
迷路的白鷺遇到行人，也習慣了不驚飛。
岸邊僻靜，自然適宜安放垂釣的坐石，
湖水清澈，有誰會妨礙在此洗滌沾染塵俗的衣衫呢？
使君您公務之暇退朝後，便可來此遊玩，
只是恐怕皇上會急切下詔，召您回去。

East of the city of myriad forms, elegance enters the verse,
Half the lake's mist and clouds roll up the lingering sunset glow.
The old dragon, cherishing rain, is loath to leave its hibernation,
The bewildered egret, meeting people, is accustomed not to fly.
The secluded bank is naturally fit for placing a fishing stone,
The clear water—who would hinder washing dusty robes?
When you, my lord, retire from court, you may wander here,
Yet I fear our sovereign's urgent summons will call you back.
