朝陽翻過山崗照過來，
低處的田地還沾著露水，溼漉漉的。
送飯的農婦惦記著家中啼哭的孩子，
路上遇到人，也不敢停下腳步站立交談。
稻穀先後成熟變黃，被收割下來，
農人們彎著腰，拾取折斷掉落的稻穗。
官府的糧倉里堆滿了糧食，任由鳥雀和老鼠糟蹋，
而如今，新收的稻穀又得作爲租稅繳納進去。
