龜形碑刻被露水與苔蘚染得暗淡，
石砌的祭壇旁，霜打的枯草一片焦黃。
破碎的瓦片從耕土中顯露出來，
卻依然能看見殘存的金碧光芒。
甘甜的泉水分爲遙遠的支脈，
其源流來自悠長的惠山。
桃花已經很久沒有盛開，
只留下葵菜與麥田的荒蕪景象。

The tortoise carving, moss-darkened, lies obscure;
The stone altar, frost-blanched grass, is sere and yellow.
Broken tiles emerge from tilled earth, bare and poor,
Yet still a gleam of gold and jade does faintly follow.
Sweet springs divide their distant veins, long and deep,
Their source from Mount Hui's enduring slopes does keep.
Peach blossoms, long unopened, leave the scene forlorn;
Only sunflower fields and wheat, now waste and worn.
