（洞庭湖）險要堅固，在三苗故地的左側，
浩渺無垠，位於雲夢七澤的西邊。
山巒的光影在千重疊嶂中顯得微小，
碧藍的天空從四面低垂下來。
順風時，漫長的路途也覺得近了，
波濤洶湧，令人每一步都感到驚惶迷失。
有誰能懂得魚和鳥的快樂，
它們不再需要等待戰鼓的聲響。

Vast and boundless, west of the seven lakes.
Mountain hues diminish in a thousand folds,
The azure sky hangs low on all four sides.
With fair wind, the long road seems near,
