百竿修長的竹子靜靜佇立，不染塵埃，
回憶起曾與山僧競相栽種，耗費了一整天時光。
它們夭矯如翠綠的虯龍，身軀彷彿將要化去，
婆娑似青色的鳳凰，尾羽全然舒展。
微風含著清越的聲響，依傍著硃紅的欄杆，
月光鏤刻出青蔭，覆蓋著翠綠的苔蘚。
曾經為了觀賞這檀欒美竹，冒雪前往，
只見玉枝交相掩映，在晨光中一片皚皚潔白。

I recall planting them all day with mountain monks, in a race.
Like coiling green dragons, their forms seem ready to transform,
And like dancing blue phoenixes, their tails are fully spread.
The breeze carries crisp sounds, leaning on the vermilion railings,
The moon carves their green shade, covering the emerald moss.
Once I braved the snow to see these jade-like trees,
Their jade branches press against each other under the morning's white gleam.
