大火星在夜半時分消散，
清澈的光華在日光下浮動。
涼意使心離開了翠竹涼蓆，
悠遠的夢縈繞著水中的洲渚。
蕙草園圃中殘留的香氣變得稀薄，
青竹溪邊的碧綠樹蔭卻愈發濃密。
在小窗前暫且寄託傲世之情，
於空閣中鎮日懷著深切的憂思。
腰帶上的孔眼全都向內移動（形容消瘦），
心境就如同歸隱的沈約一般。

Fragrance fades thin in orchid garden's habitat,
Green shade grows thick by the stream with bamboo style.
By the small window, I lodge my pride with ease,
In empty tower, deep worries are confined.

Just like Marquis Shen, who from the world resigned.
