它本是洞庭山腳下遺失的一塊寒玉瓊英。
被水沖刷雕琢成一朵孤雲的姿態，
耗費了千年白浪的聲響才得以形成。
誰能在這機杼旁遇見織女星？
我真懷疑岩石下能看到初平（黃初平，牧羊仙人）的身影。
近年來賞玩外物大多讓我心生憂病，
卻依然每日繞著蒼苔覆蓋的石頭徘徊幾遍才行。

At the foot of Dongting Mountain, a piece of cold jade was lost and unknown.
Polished by waves into a lone cloud's imposing form,
It cost a thousand years of roaring white waves to be born.
Who, by the loom, could meet the Weaving Maid star so bright?
I truly suspect, beneath the crag, the shepherd boy's in sight.
In recent years, admiring things has often made me ill,
Yet day by day, I circle the mossy stones, against my will.
