（淮南王）貪圖鑄造金錢，又盜寫符籙；
何曾以七國之亂的前車之鑑作為警戒。
追求長生不老，卻不依靠煉丹爐中的藥物；
那記載秘術的《鴻寶》之書，又有誰來收存？
碧玉井欄已空，唯有天光雲影依舊映照；
小山上的隱士已去，桂樹叢也變得稀疏。
雲中的雞犬（指得道昇天之物）再無消息；
茂盛的麥苗漸漸長滿了舊日的宮墟。

How could he heed the warning from the seven states' past?
He sought eternal life, not by the furnace's art;

The jade well's bed is empty, sky's reflection stays;

No news of fowl or hound that roamed the clouds above;
The wheat sprouts lush and green now cover the old love.
