千萬座山巒鋪陳出春天的妍麗景色，
一樹繁茂的紅花又能值多少錢呢？
幽深的庭院裡，燕子歸來後白晝漸漸變長；
平靜的池水溫暖，正是鵝兒沐浴的好天氣。
這邊是弦歌禮樂、詩書傳家的地方；
那邊是追求功名榜帖、富貴榮華的世界。
兒輩們面對鮮花應當自我勉勵，
切莫空自煩惱，像少陵那樣顛狂。

A tree of crimson blooms—what is its worth?
In the deep courtyard, after swallows come, the days grow long;
On the calm pond, as water warms, geese bathe beneath the sky.

There, placards and posts, merit and fame, the heaven of wealth and rank.
My children, facing flowers, must urge themselves on;
