我急忙喚人取來清酒，趁著午間的蔭涼。
曲折的欄杆以南，青翠的山巒合爲一體。
高高的殿堂之上，白雲顯得幽深莫測。
人們尚且不能領會官場事務的深意。
清風卻自然能吹開我們這類人的衣襟。
這一夜彈奏起《醉翁操》這首琴曲。
笑著呼喚明月，將它當作知心好友。

I hasten to call for clear wine, catching the noon shade's cove.
South of the winding railings, green peaks merge into one.
Above the lofty hall, white clouds deepen, never done.
People still fail to grasp the intent of officialdom.
Yet the breeze itself can part the lapels of our own realm.
That night, the zither played "The Drunken Old Man's Air".
Laughing, I hailed the bright moon as a friend beyond compare.
