幽靜的臺階和稀疏的菜畦送別著晚春，
水流潺潺，山巒靜立，從中可見閒適之身。
我漫步吟詠而後散去，風光正美好；
從熟睡中醒來，只覺得雨後的空氣格外清新。
木筆花（辛夷）難道不是意態濃烈嗎？
石楠終究是顯得淡雅而有精神。
黃鶯的啼聲圓潤之處，杜鵑的叫聲卻急切起來，
這景物總的來說，不曾辜負賞景之人。

By quiet steps and sparse plots, late spring is seen,
Where streams flow and hills rest, a carefree self appears serene.
Strolling and chanting, I disperse; the scenery is fair;
Awake from deep slumber, I find the rain-washed air fresh and rare.
The magnolia buds, are they not rich in form and grace?
The photinia leaves, after all, show a tranquil, subtle trace.
Where orioles' songs turn mellow, cuckoos' calls grow keen;
The sights and sounds, in essence, do not let us down, I ween.
