吳越青山日日潮，魚龍出沒浪花驕。

wú yuè qīng shān rì rì cháo， yú lóng chū mò làng huā jiāo。

乾坤莽蕩盤今古，賢否交馳迫市朝。

qián kūn mǎng dàng pán jīn gǔ， xián fǒu jiāo chí pò shì cháo。

我有詩書心自得，人無風月意難消。

吳越的青山每日面對著潮水的漲落，

魚龍在水中出沒，浪花顯得驕縱。

天地蒼茫遼闊，承載著古往今來，

賢能與庸碌之人交相奔走，迫近於朝廷市井。

我擁有詩書，內心自得滿足，

他人若無風月美景，心意便難以消遣。

三年縣尉任期已滿，我將回歸朝廷之路，

柳色爭搶著春意，梅花尚未飄落。

Hills of Wu and Yue face the daily tide's advance,

Fish and dragons emerge, waves' blossoms proud and free.

Heaven and earth, vast and wild, hold past and present in a trance,

Worthies and fools rush by, pressing close to court and city's spree.

I find my heart content with poetry and books,

Without the breeze and moon, others' minds can find no ease.

Three years as sheriff done, I return to Heaven's road it looks,

Willows vie for spring's hue, while plum blossoms still don't tease.
