在鷺鷥棲息的樹林下，我們得以自在交往，
回首往事，十五年光陰令人倍感淒涼。
哪裡想到，舊日的交遊還能尋回往日的約定？
實在不忍與朋友們談論新編撰的文章。
青翠的山色連綿，高峯依然聳立，
碧綠的湖水漲滿，漣漪散開又復歸圓融。
小酌幾杯，更引發了對古今的無限感慨，
暖風吹動樹木，我聆聽著蟬鳴聲聲。

Beneath the heron woods, we found our ease and grace,
Looking back, fifteen bleak years have left their trace.
Could we, old friends, renew our vows of yesteryear?
Too hard to speak of new works, with a sigh and tear.
Green peaks in linked array still tower high and grand,
The lake, brim-full with verdure, ripples to the strand.
A sip of wine evokes more thoughts of now and then,
While warm winds stir the trees and cicadas sing again.
