接連幾夜的風月頗值得觀賞，
酒已喝盡，端的是憐惜吟詠變得困難。
豈止是在店頭買酒價格苦貴，
更因爲秫米成熟得早，釀出的酒大多發酸。
蕭瑟的陶淵明小徑旁，柳樹即將落葉，
渺茫的吳江上，楓葉快要紅遍。
怎能得到載有數百斛酒的船，
拍浮水上，長此以往，派遣一生的歡愉不斷。

For nights, wind and moon have been quite a sight to behold;
With wine drained, I truly pity the difficulty of chanting praise.
It's not just that buying wine at the shop's front is bitterly dear,
But also because the early sorghum makes the brew mostly sour.
Soughing, the willows by Tao's path are about to shed;
Vast and dim, the Wu River's maples are turning red.
If only I had wine boats holding hundreds of hu,
Floating and clapping, I'd dispatch a lifetime of joy anew.
