With leisure from official duties, I read beyond the books,
Leaning on my staff, I gaze at the verdant shade.
Yellow birds now and then come flying by,
Facing the breeze, they pour forth lovely notes.
I too am gladdened by this scene,
Lingering, I feel a profound and peaceful mood.
Worldly affairs are just like this,
Looking back, I see the evening glow arise.
