天時與人事相互催促，
雨水沾溼了和暖的風，吹上翠綠的槐樹。
憂愁與快樂容易在忙碌中匆匆度過，
繁榮與枯萎徒然隨著年老一同到來。
尋枝摘葉終究一無所得，
放浪形骸、隨波逐流，豈能算有才？
我信奉大道，也喜愛我的茅廬，
溪流與山巒環繞，映照著巍峨的高山。

Heaven's time and human affairs both urge each other on,
Rain moistens the fragrant breeze, rising to the green locust trees.
Joy and sorrow easily pass in the midst of busy haste,
Glory and decay come in vain as old age draws near.
Seeking branches and leaves, in the end, nothing is gained;
Wandering with the waves, how could there be any talent?
I believe in the Way, and I also love my humble hut—
The winding streams and mountains shine upon the lofty peaks.
