修習大道，我並無所得，
只是忘卻了外物與自我的執著之情。
顏回與彭祖究竟在哪裡呢？
長壽與夭折，都只是虛名而已。
有酒就姑且斟酌暢飲，
志同道合的唯有知心友人。
在江邊的亭子上縱情談笑，
鳥兒飛來鳴叫，我們也不感到驚擾。
昭氏之琴原本就未曾彈奏，
又有誰會再去追問它的完美或缺損呢？

Birds come to chatter, unstartled are we.
The zither of Zhao, in truth, was never played,
Who'd ask again if its music was made or decayed?
