他持百錢殷勤慰問父老。
可嘆我官職卑微，志向未伸，
對他人有何恩德，竟受人稱好？
文書飛傳當權者，請求將我留任，
送行的饋贈交錯而來，夾雜著金銀財寶。
我天涯漂泊，攜家帶口行囊空空，
號寒啼飢，日日爲此煩惱。
可取而不取，並未損害廉潔，
但我念及唯有皓白之品易受玷汙。
不如用這些錢買書惠贈學宮，
姑且幫助賢明的長官培育人才。
離別後，若青衿學子還會想起我，
就請他們在窗前潛心探討經典吧。

People see no clerks, dogs bark not in the night,
He offers coins to elders, showing his care bright.
Alas, my rank is low, my aspirations unmet,
What virtue have I that people praise me yet?
Petitions fly to superiors, begging my stay,
Farewell gifts rush in, mingled with gold in display.
My family of ten wanders with empty bags in hand,
Crying from cold and hunger, a plight hard to withstand.
To take what's not mine would not harm my integrity,
But I think of purity, easily stained, you see.
Better to buy books for the county school's domain,
And aid the worthy lord in nurturing talents' gain.
If later, scholars in blue robes recall my name,
They should delve into yellow scrolls by the window's frame.
