The ancient city's tower stands tall and wide.
It captures the sentiments beyond the sky,
And pours out all the sorrows in the melody inside.
Who ever listened to the Xiang River's zither sound?
The Ba River just flows on, with no one around.
Leaning on the rail, I chant beneath the midnight moon,
Lingering longer, gazing down, reluctant to leave soon.
