咀嚼冰雪尚未論及香氣的境界，
眠於雲霞已愜意於月照窗軒。
誰能分得玉兔搗藥臼中千杵的玉屑？
不費鴻門宴上那雙玉璧的代價。
早晚我要乘木筏去探問銀河，
呼喚童僕多釀些酒，裝滿大缸。

But for the autumn wind, he digs an ancient tree.
To chew on snow—not yet discussing realms of scent;
To sleep in clouds—already pleased by moonlit sill.
Who will share the jade mortar's thousand pestle pounds?
No need for the twin jades at Hongmen's feast of strife.
Soon I'll ride a raft to ask the Silver River's bounds;
Tell the lad to brew more wine and fill the vat of life.
