Leaning on pines, through bamboos, each finds delight.
A mountain walk, one round, then another day;
Clouds as my neighbors, now for four full years.
Within the bounds of orthodox teaching, there is a place;
Beyond my own heart, there is no other heaven.
Even my lifelong old servant still doubts me—
I am no common man, yet not an immortal either.
