我在茅草屋齋中堅坐，日復一日都是雨，
竹杖長久閒置，處處都生出了青苔。
連梅花的半面都未曾見到，它便已告別離去，
四種愁緒無可奈何，春草又已生長出來。
秀美的山巒能耗費我幾雙木屐呢？
美好的日子須要傾盡三百杯酒。
告訴海棠花切莫倉促開放，
不論早晚，都要等待天晴時再綻放。

My bamboo staff lies idle, moss grows everywhere.
I haven't even seen the plum blossoms bid farewell,
Yet helpless, I watch the grass grow, stirring my fourfold sorrow.

On a fine day, I must drain three hundred cups of wine.
I tell the crabapple blossoms: do not be hasty,
Whether early or late, just wait for the clear sky to open.
