清晨整理行裝準備踏上歸途，
殘燈微光與破曉的曙光相互映照。
推開房門，只見半輪山月懸於天際，
立馬庭中，滿院鋪著一層白霜。
鐘聲傳來，便知那是雲霧深處的寺院，
水波喧響，認出那是橫跨溪流的石樑。
漫長的旅途不容我在此停留，
只得繼續前行，走出這山間的莊院。

I set out early, packing for my return journey,
The dying lamp still glimmers in the dawn's first light.
I open the door to a half-moon over the mountain,
And halt my horse in a courtyard paved with frost white.
The bell's toll tells of a temple veiled in clouds,
The river's roar reveals the stone bridge in its course.
The long road ahead will not let me linger now,
On and on I go, leaving the mountain lodge's source.
