垂楊渡口，一葉小舟橫泊，
我涉過清澈的溪水，你卻獨自遠行。
還未被允許讓冀北的馬羣空無主人，
我自憐這墨筆文風已流傳過彭城。
魚雁不便，書信難以送達，
蝴蝶無情，連夢境也無法成全。
但這正是我獨自吟詠、清幽絕俗之處，
高山之上，有誰能聽懂這斷腸之聲？

A small boat lies athwart the ferry of drooping willows,
I wade the clear stream while you journey alone.
Not yet granted to leave the horse herds of the northern plains empty,
I pity myself that my ink tradition has passed Pengcheng.
With no convenient fish or wild goose, letters are hard to reach,
The heartless butterfly brings no dreams to fruition.
Yet this is the place of solitary chanting, pure and sublime—
Who upon the high mountain recognizes the heart-rending sound?
