向下俯瞰陡峭的山谷，劇烈得如同窺視深井。
縱橫交錯的道路綿延十里，看似很近，
為何還需要翻越這麼多山嶺？
秋日的雨水釀成了春天的泥濘，
翻湧的泥淖需要扛鼎之力才能通過。
僕役倚靠著山角哭泣，
偶然遭遇險境，擔憂性命安危。
往日曾嗤笑王子猷的狂放，
竟在半夜划船歸去。
如今才知興盡之處，
每邁一步都令人喉頭梗塞，驚懼不已。

Looking down the steep slope is as dizzying as peering into a well.
The winding path covers ten li, yet feels so near,
Why then must we cross so many mountain crests?
Autumn rain brews spring mud,

The servant weeps in a corner, burdened,
Chancing upon peril, fearing for his life.
I once laughed at Ziyou's madness,
Rowing his boat home in the dead of night.
Now I know the place where joy runs out,
Each step forward makes my throat constrict with dread.
