若不是憑藉經緯交織之力，
怎能有捲起舒展的功用？
春日白天它曾妨礙燕子出入，
寒夜難道真能阻隔寒風？
在都堂再次獻上賦文，
於明亮之處想起被籠絡的往事。

Woven bamboo into a delicate form,
It hangs at the innermost part of the courtyard.
Not by the force of warp and weft,
How could it furl and unfurl with such grace?
In spring days, it once hindered the swallows,
On cold nights, does it truly block the wind?
