山中有流動的泉水，
如今卻無人來此洗耳（以示高潔）。
樹木的陰影相互交織，濃密遮蔽，
鳥兒的鳴叫聲交織在黃昏與清晨。
誰能洞察天地萬物運行的宏大規律，
通達這春秋更替的奧義呢？
生命的意趣自然如此繁盛，
每一片葉子都分得一份嶄新的光華。
藤蔓依附纏繞著女蘿，
蘭草與白芷在荒亂的灌木叢中生長。
興起歸隱混同棲居的念頭，
但隨波逐流的蹤跡，又如何能得以伸展？
可悲啊，我這倦於遊歷的人，
心中感慨寄託，徒然充滿辛酸。
繁榮與枯萎全然不去計較，
衰老卻即將迫近己身。
淚水悄然在眼中充盈，
滴落在這衣袍的塵土之上。
所沉溺的是官服車駕的舊事，
因而大大錯過了與煙霞山水親近的機會。

In the mountains flows a spring, clear and free,
But none now comes to cleanse his ear by its decree.
The trees' dense shadows intertwine, a woven screen,
Where birds' songs mingle, marking dusk and dawn unseen.
Who can perceive the grand cycle's turning wheel,
And grasp the passage of spring and autumn's feel?
Life's vigor thrives of its own accord, untamed,
Each leaf unfolds a share of light, newly claimed.
Vines cling to dodder, in embrace they twine,
Orchids and fragrant herbs through wild thorns shine.
My thoughts dwell on this mingled dwelling place,
But how can one extend his trace, his space?
Alas, the weary wanderer, filled with woe,
His lodged feelings bring but bitterness in flow.
Glory and decay, he does not count or heed,
As aging presses on, a looming need.
Tears well up silently within my eye,
And fall upon the dust that on my robe doth lie.
Too long engrossed in robes and carriage vain,
I've lost the kinship with mist and clouded plain.
